The Swede-O® Inner Lok 8® features a patented internal figure eight strapping system which assures proper strap placement and simulates professional taping. The quick release strap allows you to easily remove the brace by loosening the internal strapping system. The exclusive dual eyelet lacing system is offset to create a "pulley effect", keeping the brace tighter longer. The top strap covers the laces and locks the figure eight straps in position. Wear this brace over a clean, dry athletic sock.
Pull brace over the foot like a sock.
Pull up on the inside (medial) strap and secure to the top of the brace.
Pull up on the outside (lateral) strap and secure to the top of the brace.
Lace through each eyelet, pulling the laces tight at each set of eyelets. Tie at the top.
Readjust straps by pulling tight and securing to the top of the brace.
Wrap top strap around the ankle and secure.
For quick & easy brace removal:
Loosen laces, disengage top & side straps.
Pull up on the quick release strap and slide brace off the foot.
Notes:
Retighten laces and straps during use, as needed.
If the figure eight straps are too long they may be shortened by cutting off excess.
Replace brace every year to ensure proper support.
Washing Instructions:
Hand wash with cold water and mild soap (no chlorine additives) and hang to dry (do not machine dry).
